Alex Flanagan

She graduated from at the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. Flanagan is a reporter for NFL Network as an anchor/reporter and for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter on Notre Dame home football games as well as for Football Night in America. Flanagan hosts a weekly recap in Madden 10 and Madden 11 alongside Fran. Alex originates from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan is the former University of Arizona Basketball player she got married to. The couple has two daughters as well as a son. Alex's family owns the Arizona steak restaurants "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career in college, as an intern for KVOA-TV. The reporter began covering sports at the age of 1998. Flanagan was a reporter and anchor on NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was a Gamma Phi Beta member. Following her graduation Flanagan landed her first TV position as a general assignment news anchor, reporter and weekend anchor with KCCO-TV located in Alexandria, Minnesota.
